The South Atlantic Conference Announces Staff Promotions

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – South Atlantic Conference Commissioner Patrick Britz announced two staff promotions this week. Eliane Kebbe has been promoted to Senior Associate Commissioner and Senior Woman Administrator, while Christian Stryker has been promoted to Assistant Commissioner.

"Both Eliane and Christian are valuable assets to the SAC office and to our league," said Britz. "Their hard work and dedication to the SAC have been instrumental in our growth and development as a premiere NCAA Division II Conference."

Kebbe, who celebrates her tenth year at the SAC in September, has served as the Conference's Associate Commissioner and SWA since 2013. Her duties include oversight the SAC's governance and NCAA compliance efforts, as well as the majority of the conference championship events, she also oversees officiating for softball and volleyball. She will continue interacting on a daily basis with the conference compliance coordinators and various coaches' groups. In addition, Kebbe serves as the SAC's Senior Women's Administrator and works with the league's SWA Committee and Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.

According to Britz, "Eliane's promotion reflects her importance and value to the SAC. In her time she has become an invaluable resource for our member institutions and for the SAC as a whole."

Stryker, joined the SAC staff in January of 2018 and is responsible for coordinating the SAC's media and public relations efforts, in addition to expanding the conference's digital and social media presence, and producing league publications.  Stryker also assists in enhancing the SAC's marketing and branding strategies, serves as the sport administrator for baseball and track and field, and is the liaison for the conference Faculty Athletic Representative and Athletic Trainer committees.

"Even though he has only been with us a short time, Christian has elevated our strategic communications a great deal and made a very positive impact for the office and the conference," said Britz.

Both promotions were unanimously approved by the SAC President's Council and will go into effect on July 1.
