Lenoir-Rhyne's Kate Griewisch Finishes 19th At NCAA Cross Country Championship

EVANSVILLE, Ind. – Lenoir-Rhyne University’s Kate Griewisch earned All-American honors Saturday at the 2009 NCAA Division II Cross Country National Championships in Evansville, Ind.  Griewisch finished 19th out of 184 runners in the women’s race and ran a 21:30 on the 6K course hosted by the University of Southern Indiana. Lenoir-Rhyne's Griewisch Named Women's Cross Country Southeast Region Athlete Of The Year

NEW ORLEANS, La. – Lenoir-Rhyne’s University Kate Griewisch has been named the United States Track and Field & Cross Country Coaches Association Women’s Athlete Of The Year For The Southeast Region.  Griewisch is one of 16 athletes and coaches of the year for NCAA Division II Women’s Cross Country. Mars Hill Men's Cross Country Team, Lenoir-Rhyne's Kate Griewisch Advance To Cross Country National Championship

WINGATE, N.C. -- The Columbus State University women and the Queens University of Charlotte men picked up team championships in the 2009 NCAA Division II Southeast Regional cross country meet, hosted by Wingate University Saturday morning at the Wingate University cross country facility. The Mars Hill College men and Lenoir-Rhyne University women's runner Kate Griewisch will represent the South Atlantic Conference at the 2009 NCAA Division II National Championship meet in Evansville, Ind.
