Men's Basketball
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Anderson guard Rashawn Inglemon has been named the South Atlantic Conference WePlayed Sports Men's Basketball Player of the Week for games played during week 14 of the 2025-26 season, the Conference announced today.
Inglemon, a freshman from Sacramento, Calif., played a huge role for the Trojans in two wins over teams in consideration for the NCAA Tournament. In a 92-81 win at Catawba, Inglemon poured in 27 points on 8-of-11 shooting while going 7-for-10 from long range. He would follow that up with 23 points on 10-of-15 shooting in a home win over UVA Wise on Saturday. For the week, he averaged 25 points per game and shot 69.2 percent from the floor and 53.3 percent from long range.

Women's Basketball
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Lincoln Memorial forward Kamil Collier has been named the South Atlantic Conference WePlayed Sports Women's Basketball Player of the Week for games played during week 14 of the 2025-26 season, the Conference announced today. This is the second straight weekly honor for Collier and third of the season.
Collier, a senior from Nashville, Tenn., recorded a career-high 32 points along with 12 rebounds against Mars Hill for her 17th double-double of the season. She went 13-of-18 from the field in the win while adding a pair of assists and steals. She would follow that up with 18 points, nine boards and four assists in a 56-48 win over No. 12 Coker. For the week, she shot 63 percent from the field and averaged 25 points and 10.5 boards per game.

Men's Lacrosse
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference announced its WePlayed Sports Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week for games played during week three of the 2026 season. Newberry's Gage Vigar was named the Offensive Player of the Week, Catawba's Owen Conway was named the Defensive Player of the Week, while Lincoln Memorial's Jayden Herman was named the Specialist of the Week.
Vigar, a junior from Kelowna, British, Columbia, led No. 12 Newberry with a dominant offensive performance across two road contests against nationally competitive opponents, totaling eight points on six goals and two assists. In the Wolves' 8–6 road victory over the University of Indianapolis, Vigar fueled the offense with five points (3 goals, 2 assists), placing all five of his shots on goal while adding three ground balls. He followed that performance with another strong outing against No. 11 Lewis University, recording three goals on six shots, including five shots on goal, against one of the nation's top-ranked programs.
Conway, a sophomore from Bel Air, Md., notched two caused turnovers with four ground balls and netted his second career goal in Catawba's 12-9 victory at Barton on Saturday, paving the way to a 3-0 start.
Herman, a senior from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, recorded 13 saves and allowed just four goals in Lincoln Memorial's 12-4 victory over Mount Olive on Saturday. He recorded a career-high 76.5 save percentage in the contest.

Women's Lacrosse
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference announced its WePlayed Sports Women's Lacrosse Players of the Week for games played during week two of the 2026 season. Wingate's Julia Garvin was named the Offensive Player of the Week while Coker's Olivia Schmidt was named the Defensive Player of the Week.
Garvin, a senior from Adams Center, N.Y., piled up a career-high seven points on Sunday afternoon, leading No. 15 Wingate to a dominant 17-6 victory over Lander. The senior had a goal and a career-best six assists on the day, while notching a caused turnover and a ground ball, scoring her goal on her lone shot attempt of the afternoon.
Schmidt, a sophomore from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, had a record-breaking performance for the Cobras against Colorado St.-Pueblo on Thursday. Schmidt broke the Coker program record for most saves in a game with 25, shattering the previous mark of 20.

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Coker's Ilona Hernandez-Sanchez has been named the South Atlantic Conference WePlayed Sports Women's Tennis Player of the Week and Wingate's Ruben Lebron has been named the Men's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played during week three of the 2026 season, the Conference announced today.
Hernandez-Sanchez, a sophomore from Zoetermeer, Netherlands, posted a 2-0 mark in first singles and first doubles for the Cobras. Against Augusta, she recorded a 6-1 win in doubles play and a straight-set, 6-3, 6-1 win in the top singles spot. She followed that up with an 8-5 first doubles and 6-2, 6-1 first singles victory in a win over USC Sumter.
Lebron, a freshman from Mallorca, Spain,, went 2-0 in singles play and 1-0 in doubles play to lead #19 Wingate to a 2-0 week. He rallied for a big 4-6, 6-3, 6-3 win at #2 singles in the tight 4-3 win over Belmont Abbey and then rolled to a 6-0, 6-2 win at #1 singles in the SAC opener against Mars Hill, while teaming with James Snook for a 6-2 win at 3 doubles against the Lions.

Men's Indoor Track and Field
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference announced its WePlayed Sports Men's Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week for meets contested during the sixth week of competition. Wingate's Distance Medley Relay team earned the track honor while Mars Hill's Jesse Shelton earned the field honor.
Wingate's Distance Medley Relay quartet of David Holman (1200m), Deon Sumpter (400m), Klaus Scholz (800m) and Luca Poppe (1600m) set a new NCAA Division II record at the Saucony Battle for Boston, posting a time of 9:29.69. The record-breaking performance establishes the fastest DMR time in Division II history and adds to an already decorated relay tradition for the Bulldogs.
Shelton, a junior thrower from Mars Hill, N.C., claimed first place in the shot put at the ASICS Last Chance Invitational at JDL Fast Track with a mark of 18.45 meters. His throw set a new Mars Hill program record and currently ranks sixth in Division II this season.

Women's Indoor Track & Field
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference announced its WePlayed Sports Women's Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week for meets contested during the seventh week of competition. Catawba's Madi Clay earned the track honor while Lincoln Memorial's Ashley Parrish earned the field honor.
Clay, a senior distance runner from Morganton, N.C., set a new school record in the 5,000 meters at the JDL Last Chance Invitational with a time of 16:45.58. Her mark ranks among the top-25 performances in Division II this season and stands as one of the top times in the SAC this year.
Parrish, a junior thrower from Maryville, Tenn., claimed first place in the weight throw at the Tryon Last Chance meet with a toss of 51 feet, 10 inches. She followed that performance with a runner-up finish in the shot put at 39 feet, 10½ inches, turning in a strong multi-event weekend.

Softball
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Lenoir-Rhyne's Madison Primm was named the South Atlantic Conference WePlayed Sports Baseball Player of the Week, while Tusculum's Chelsey Stonesifer was named Pitcher of the Week for games played during week three of the 2026 season, the conference office announced today.
Primm, a junior infielder from Stem, N.C., went 5-for-11 in the Bears 4-0 week and scored six runs in those four wins. She crushed three home runs and drove in nine runs while walking three times and not striking out. For the week, she hit .455 with a .533 on base percentage and 1.273 slugging percentage. Defensively, she was 15-for-15 at third base.
Stonesifer, a junior from Littlestown, Pa., earned a pair of complete game victories for the Pioneers last week. The righty threw 12 innings and allowed just six hits, three walks and one earned run while striking out 15 batters. She posted a 0.58 ERA and 0.75 WHIP. Against Barton, she tossed five innings while allowing two hits and striking out nine batters.

Baseball
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Lenoir-Rhyne's Seth Christmas was named the South Atlantic Conference WePlayed Sports Baseball Player of the Week, while Anderson's Kaleb Owens was named Pitcher of the Week for games played during week four of the 2026 season, the conference office announced today.
Christmas, a senior catcher from Charlotte, N.C., went 8-for-14 over a 4-0 week for the Bears, highlighted by hitting for the cycle in a win over USC Beaufort. He hit two home runs, including a grand slam, in game one of the weekend series with Carson-Newman and totaled 10 RBI and six extra base hits. For the week, he posted a 1.500 slugging percentage and crossed the plate seven times.
Owens, a sophomore from Easley, S.C., was dominant in his seven innings against Tusculum on Feb. 20. In the 6-0 win, Owens allowed just two baserunners – both hits – with 10 strikeouts. He posted a 0.00 ERA and 0.29 WHIP to earn the victory on the mound.

Beach Volleyball
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Tusculum's Siri Aasgard and Ally Doty were named the South Atlantic Conference WePlayed Sports Beach Volleyball Pair of the Week for matches played during week two of the 2026 season, the conference office announced today.
The duo posted a perfect 4-0 record on the weekend for the Pioneers, including wins over there Division I pairs and all four of the victories came in straight sets. They defeated Liberty 21-17, 21-16 to open the weekend and followed that up with a dominant 21-7, 21-12 win over Morehead St. They would go on to earn wins over Austin Peay and Eastern Kentucky at the number five spot.
