SAC Places Six on NFHCA Division II All-Region Teams
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Six South Atlantic Conference field hockey student-athletes earned spots on the 2025 NFHCA Division II All-Region teams, the association announced today. Newberry, Lander, and Belmont Abbey were each represented among the honorees in the Atlantic Region.
The NFHCA All-Region announcement is the first step in the organization's postseason awards cycle, which continues with Regional Players of the Year on December 11 and the All-American teams on December 16.
Atlantic Region First Team – SAC Honorees

Emma Westbrook, Newberry – Forward
Keeler and Westbrook led a Newberry attack that carried the Wolves to the NCAA Division II National Championship game, finishing as national runners-up. Their First Team selections reflect their scoring impact, consistency, and leadership on one of the nation's top offenses.

Sarah Schumacher, Belmont Abbey – Defender
Dahmen and Payton Keeler added to Newberry's presence on the Second Team with strong two-way play throughout the Wolves' postseason run. Hulst anchored Lander's defensive group and provided reliable minutes in key matchups. Schumacher, the 2025 SAC Defensive Player of the Year, earned a spot after leading Belmont Abbey's backline and establishing herself as one of the region's top defenders.
The Conference congratulates all six honorees for their achievements and the impact they made on their programs during the 2025 season.
