The South Atlantic Conference Announces AstroTurf SAC Men’s Soccer Player of the Week, Oct. 17
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Queens midfielder Corey Brown has been named the AstroTurf South Atlantic Conference Men's Soccer Player of the Week for games played Oct. 10 – Oct. 16, the League announced today.
Brown, a senior from Toronto, Canada, recorded six points in the Royals 5-0 victory over Newberry College on October 15th and helped Queens end a three-game skid. Brown scored two goals and also tallied two assists. Brown scored his first goal in the 25th minute before adding another in the 53rd minute. Brown ranks second in the South Atlantic Conference in assists with eight. The award is his first Player of the Week award this season.
