Wingate’s Craig, Tretbar Named SAC Cross Country Runners of the Week
A pair of Wingate student-athletes – Alex Craig and Brittany Tretbar – have been named the SAC Cross Country Runners of the Week after impressive performances at Saturday’s Bulldog Stampede, the league office announced on Tuesday.
ROCK HILL, S.C. – A pair of Wingate student-athletes – Alex Craig and Brittany Tretbar – have been named the SAC Cross Country Runners of the Week after impressive performances at Saturday's Bulldog Stampede, the league office announced on Tuesday.
SAC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week | Alex Craig, Wingate
Craig placed fifth in the individual standings at the Bulldog Stampede, crossing the finish line with a time of 28:31. It was the best performance of the freshman's young career.

SAC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week | Brittany Tretbar, Wingate
Tretbar wins Runner of the Week honors for the third time this season after finishing first at the Bulldog Stampede with a time of 18:59. It was the second-straight week that Tretbar won the individual title at a race.
Tretbar's performance helped Wingate capture the team championship at the event.
