Five SAC Schools Ranked in Week Two of USTFCCCA Men's Cross Country Poll and One Named in National Polls

NEW ORLEANS – The U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced week two of its Southeast Region Men's Cross Country Poll on Tuesday (Sept. 24.) While also releasing week two of the National DII Men's Cross Country Rankings today (Sept. 25.)

Five teams from the South Atlantic Conference were represented in the poll, including preseason favorite, Queens in the No. 1 spot for the second consecutive week. The Royals didn't stop there, as they jumped from No. 21 to No. 19 in the National Rankings. 

Wingate checked in at No. 5, with the No. 7 spot belonging to Anderson and No. 9 going to Catawba. 

Rounding out the SAC teams and taking the final spot in the poll is Lenoir-Rhyne at No. 10  

The SAC cross country season is underway with multiple meets this weekend.
