Catawba’s Bonilla, Tusculum’s James Named SAC Soccer Weekly Award Winners
Catawba forward Kenny Bonilla and Tusculum forward Tramicka James have been selected as the SAC Soccer Players of the Week, the conference office released on Tuesday.
ROCK HILL, S.C. – Catawba forward Kenny Bonilla and Tusculum forward Tramicka James have been selected as the SAC Soccer Players of the Week, the conference office released on Tuesday.
Bonilla notched the first two goals of his college career in dramatic fashion on Saturday against Barton. With Catawba trailing 2-1 inside the 82nd minute, the freshman scored twice in a span of two minutes, lifting the Indians to the 3-2 victory.
For the season, Bonilla has attempted four shots-on-goal to go along with an assist.

James had a huge week for Tusculum, headlined by a hat trick in the Pioneers' 4-0 win over No. 8 Saint Leo on Friday. All three of James' goals came in the first half, establishing a commanding lead for TC en route to the upset. She also added a goal in TC's 3-0 win against Nova Southeastern on Sunday.
The senior is currently tied for the SAC lead with five goals.
