Four SAC Teams, Four Singles Players and Four Doubles Teams Ranked in Latest Oracle/ITA Division II Women's Tennis Rankings

ROCK HILL, S.C. - The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) releaed its latest Oracle/ITA Division II Women's Tennis Top 50 national ranking on Wednesday (March 27). Wingate earned the No. 11 spot in the ranking, followed by Queens at No. 17, Tusculum moved to No. 37 and Lenoir-Rhyne entered the ranking at No. 44. 

The Bulldogs are a perfect 13-0 overall, with a 6-0 record in SAC play, while Queens is 9-2 overall and 4-1 in conference play. Tusculum is 8-2 overall and is 4-0 in the SAC, with the Bears holding a 12-2 record and are 3-1 in conference. 

In addition to the national team ranking, the ITA also released its Oracle/ITA Top 75 singles ranking and Top 50 doubles ranking. 

Wingate's Michela Verpelli is ranked No. 24 in singles, while Catawba's Sophie Hirsch is ranked No. 54 in singles. Queens' Aliaksandra Davidzenka comes in at No. 59 and Wingate's Alisa Rudenko is ranked No. 60.

The double's pair of Yana Fleyer and Aliaksandra Davidzenka from Queens are ranked No. 11 in doubles. Verpelli and doubles partner Alisa Rudenko are ranked No. 19 in doubles. 

Also ranked in doubles are Wingate's Claudia De Andreis and Chyi Lee at No. 29 and Lincoln Memorial's Julia Loos and Julia Valls are No. 44.
