The South Atlantic Conference Announces AstroTurf SAC Men's Indoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Wingate's Isaiah Kyle was tabbed the Astroturf South Atlantic Conference Men's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week, for meets contested the first week of the season, the League announced today.

Kyle, a junior from Mooristown Tenn., won the men's high jump at the JDL Fast Track College Kick-off Classic with an NCAA automatic qualifying height of 2.15 meters on Dec. 2. Kyle's leap is the number one high jump in the NCAA Division II this season, tied with Ashland junior Myles Pringle. On Dec. 2, he had the best high jump in a 14-person field. The award is his first Field Athlete of the Week honor this season.
