The South Atlantic Conference Announces AstroTurf SAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week, Nov. 21

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Anderson forward Alexis Dillard has been named the AstroTurf South Atlantic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week for games played Nov. 14-20, the League announced today.

 

Dillard, a senior from Taylors, S.C., put in a career-high 26 points and ripped down 18 rebounds to push her squad to a 79-63 win over Erskine on Nov. 16.  She connected on 9-of-9 from the floor and added 8-of-10 from the line in the victory.  Defensively, Dillard controlled the paint as she turned away five shots and posted one steal.  Her five blocked shots was one shy of her career-best.  The award marks her first Player of the Week plaudit this season.
