Bio

Madison Oster joined the SAC as the Director of Strategic Communications and Administration in October 2022.

Oster joins the SAC staff from the Lancaster Barnstromers baseball team of the Atlantic League. With the Barnstormers she served as an intern working with promotions and fulfillment during the 2022 season. Prior to her time with the Barnstormers she spent a season with the Harrisonburg Turks baseball team in the Valley League working game day operations in the press box and she was a student worker with the James Madison University Athletic Communications department.   

A former swimming student-athlete at James Madison, Oster was a Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Champion and an All-CAA individual performer in 2019 and was a Commissioner's Academic Award winner. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Sports Communications from James Madison and has a Master of Public Administration with a graduate certificate in Sports Management and Athletics from West Chester University.

Oster will assist in the day-to-day communication and media relations for the SAC office, as well as serving as the primary Conference administrator for new media and social media. She will also coordinate the Conference's awards and assist with Conference championships.
