Seasoned Broadcast Crews Set to Call SAC Basketball Championship Webcasts
Each semifinal and final game of the 2013 Food Lion SAC Basketball Championship will be webstreamed live at www.theSAC.com, and will feature a collection of veteran talent crews that bring extensive basketball and on-air experience to the broadcasts.
ROCK HILL, S.C. – Each semifinal and final game of the 2013 Food Lion SAC Basketball Championship will be webstreamed live at www.theSAC.com, and will feature a collection of veteran talent crews that bring extensive basketball and on-air experience to the broadcasts.
All four of the SAC Championship semifinals and both of the title games will be streamed at no cost to the viewer.

For the men's webstreams, current ESPN Regional Television announcer Jason Benetti will handle play-by-play duties. Benetti is also the lead play-by-play announcer for the AAA Minor League Baseball Syracuse Chiefs, and a play-by-play announcer for Time Warner Cable Sports Channel.
He will be joined on the broadcast by color analyst Ralph Patterson, whose on-air experience includes work for ESPN3, ESPN Regional Television, Fox Sports South, SportsSouth, MASN and Comcast Sports Southeast. Patterson has also served as host of pre and post-game shows on the Clemson Tiger Football Network.
Prior to his broadcasting career, Patterson spent 18 years coaching at Colorado, Appalachian St. and Erskine, and was a talent scout for the NBA's Phoenix Suns.
This will be Benetti and Patterson's second year calling the SAC Men's Basketball Championship together.
The women's broadcasts will be led by play-by-play analyst Roy Philpott, an announcer for ESPNU men's and women's basketball telecasts. Philpott also serves as the lead play-by-play voice for Clemson men and women's basketball, and co-host of the Tiger Tailgate Show on the Clemson Tiger Sports Network.
Joining Philpott will be Kanetra Queen, Clemson's current women's basketball color commentator. Queen also serves as the Tigers' Director of Basketball Operations.
Queen was a four-year women's basketball letterwinner at Clemson, reaching two NCAA Tournaments during her career.
The Wingate University Sports Network will produce the webstreams under the direction of Ryan Brown.
The semifinal rounds of the SAC Basketball Championship will take place on March 9 at Timmons Arena in Greenville, S.C. Women's semifinals are scheduled for noon and 2:30, followed by the men's games at 5:30 and 8:00.
The Championship's title games will be held the following day at Timmons Arena, with the women tipping at 1:30 followed by the men at 4:30.
