ROCK HILL, S.C. – The SAC announced on Wednesday that the men's and women's title matches of the 2013 Food Lion SAC Soccer Championship will be streamed live on NSCAATV, the online media property of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
Both title matches will take place on Sunday, Nov. 10 in Rock Hill, S.C., with the men's championship starting at 1 p.m. followed by the women at 4 p.m.
NSCAATV has developed into a central hub of collegiate soccer content. Throughout the season, the network features original programming, live streams, review shows and content promotion of the sport, in addition to coaching education programs.
"This partnership with NSCAATV provides an exciting opportunity to showcase our conference to a national audience," said SAC Commissioner Patrick Britz. "The NSCAA's interest in broadcasting the SAC Soccer Championship is indicative of the event's growth into one of college soccer's top annual events."
"The SAC is one of the premier NCAA Division II athletic conferences in the country," added NSCAA CEO Joe Cummings. "We hope this agreement with the SAC grows into a larger partnership with more games broadcast on NSCAATV in the future."
Production of the SAC Soccer Championship title match broadcasts will once again be led by the Wingate University Sports Network, under the direction of Ryan Brown.
Quarterfinals of the SAC Soccer Championship will take place on Nov. 5 on the campuses of the higher seeds. The semifinal round will then move to Manchester Meadows in Rock Hill on Friday, Nov. 8, followed by the finals on Nov. 10.
