Tusculum, Catawba Remain Ranked in NCAA Baseball Regional Poll
INDIANAPOLIS - Tusculum and Catawba have again been ranked in the top 10 of this week's NCAA Baseball Southeast Region poll, which was released on Wednesday. Tusculum maintained its No. 2 ranking, while Catawba fell a spot from last week to No. 6.
After winning the Food Lion SAC Baseball Championship two weekends ago, Tusculum has won three of four nonconference games, including a recent two-game sweep over Montevallo. TC was ranked No. 4 in this week's NCBWA national poll, and currently boasts a 46-8 record.
Catawba picked up a non-conference win over UNC Pembroke early last week, but later dropped a pair of games to USC Aiken.
The Indians are 39-14 overall this season.
NCAA Division II Baseball Championship selections will be announced on May 13.
