The South Atlantic Conference Announces AstroTurf Baseball Player and Pitcher of the Week Honors

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Coker's Reilly Hall was named the South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Baseball Player of the Week, while Lenoir-Rhyne's Joshua Lanham was named AstroTurf Baseball Pitcher of the Week for games played during week nine of the 2021 season, the Conference office announced today.

Hall, a senior outfielder from Cooperstown, N.Y., led the Cobras to a 3-1 SAC series win over UVA Wise last week with an outstanding performance at the plate. Hall belted six homers in the series, including five in the final doubleheader. He finished the week batting .438 with six home runs, a double, 13 RBIs, 13 runs scored, and seven walks. His three-home run performance in game four of the series ties a Coker single-game record for home runs.

Lanham, a freshman right-hander from Augusta, Ga., led the Bears to a 9-0 win over No. 28 Wingate last week in his lone appearance on the mound. He went seven innings, allowing no runs with four hits and one walk with 10 strikeouts.

This is Hall's first Player of the Week honor this season, while this marks the third Pitcher of the Week honor for Lanham.
