SAC Baseball Schedule Update

SALISBURY, NC - Due to inclimate weather and NCAA rules limiting teams to no more than two games in a single day, the schedule for the South Atlantic Conference Baseball Championship has been adjusted.

Game 4 will take place this morning (Saturday) at 11:00 a.m., featuring Coker vs. Newberry in an elimination game. The winner will advance to Game 5 to face Limestone, which is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. or 45 minutes after the conclusion of Game 4.

What happens next depends on the result of Game 5:

  • If Limestone wins Game 5, the first game of the championship series (Limestone vs. Catawba) will be played tonight (Saturday) at 6:00 p.m., with the "if necessary" game moved to Monday.

  • If Coker or Newberry wins Game 5, the team would have played two games already on Saturday and cannot play a third. In that case, both the championship game and the "if necessary" game will be played on Monday. Game times for Monday are to be determined.
