BREVARD, N.C. - After Brevard struck first in the first
quarter as Aaron Reese hooked up with Eric Watts on a five yard
touchdown pass, but a Brevard fumble in the third quarter turned
the tide as Mars Hill scored 21 unanswered points. The Lions held
off the Tornados in Brevard Memorial Stadium on Saturday afternoon,

Hickory, N.C. - The Lenoir-Rhyne University football team
(2-1, 1-0) defeated No. 17 Carson-Newman College (2-1, 0-1), 20-7,
in its home and South Atlantic Conference opener Saturday night in

SALISBURY, N.C. - The Newberry College defense held strong in
tough situations and Bryan Ehrlich threw three touchdown passes to
lead the Wolves to a 21-13 win in the South Atlantic Conference

Wingate 29, UNC Pembroke 26 (OT)
PEMBROKE, N.C.- Wingate University redshirt senior quarterback
Cody Haffly (Locust Grove, Ga.) found junior wide receiver Josh
Clawson (Clover, S.C.) for a four-yard touchdown in overtime,
giving the Bulldogs a 29-26 come-from-behind victory over UNC
Pembroke at Grace P. Johnson Stadium and Lumbee Guaranty Bank Field

TIGERVILLE, S.C. - Terryan Rucker rushed for 169 yards, while
Idris Anderson ran for 72 yards and three touchdowns to lead host
North Greenville to a 27-7 non-conference football win over
