Six SAC Football Players Earn D2CCA All-American Honors
WICHITA FALLS, Texas - Six South Atlantic Conference football student-athletes have been named to the 2022 Division II Collegiate Commissioners Association (D2CCA) All-America Teams.
Leading the way for the SAC is Wingate with four selections; Ethan Evans (first team, punter), DJ Horne (second team, defensive line), Davon Gilmore (second team, linebacker), and Tre Morrison (second team, corner back). Mars Hill's Ty Snelson was named to the second team as a tight end and Newberry's Mario Anderson picked up second team honors as a running back.
