Ten SAC Football Players Named to 2022 D2Football.com Elite 100 List

Ten players from the South Atlantic Conference have been named to the D2Football.com Elite 100 for the 20222 season. Selected by coaches and scouts from around the country, the Elite 100 represents the top 100 players in NCAA Division II Football. 

Earning first team honors were Mars Hill defensive back, Tristan Rankin, and Wingate punter, Ethan Evans. 

Newberry running back, Mario Anderson was named to the second team. 

Rounding out the remaining selections were Limestone's Tre Stewart, Barton's Jordan Terrell, Mars Hill's Ty Snelson, Limestone's Cameron Thomason, Wingate's D.J. Horne, Lenoir-Rhyne's Andre Jefferson, and Wingate's Tre Morrison.
