NEWBERRY, S.C. (theSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference Field Hockey Championship ended with Newberry completing a perfect 18-0 season, defeating Lander 3-0 to secure the 2025 SAC title at Setzler Field.
The Wolves took control early, scoring twice in the first quarter and adding another in the second.

8:30 – Wibien Dahmen opened the scoring.

13:08 – Parker Keeler added the second, assisted by Lieke Varenkamp.

23:28 – Amber Tozana closed out the scoring with an assist from Parker Keeler.
Goalkeeper Ayanda Mangenah posted five saves in the shutout for Newberry, while Isabel Elenga recorded seven saves for Lander.
The victory gives Newberry its first SAC tournament championship and an automatic berth to the NCAA Division II Tournament.
