LMU’s Rosini Named 2025 SAC Field Hockey Scholar-Athlete of the Year
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Lincoln Memorial University's Olivia Rosini has been voted the 2025 South Atlantic Conference Field Hockey Scholar-Athlete of the Year, the league announced today.
The South Atlantic Conference Scholar-Athlete of the Year award honors one student-athlete in each championship sport and is selected by the SAC Faculty Athletic Representatives Committee. The award recognizes academic excellence, athletic performance, service, and leadership.
Rosini, a senior Business Administration and Management major, holds a perfect 4.0 GPA and has earned multiple academic distinctions throughout her career. Her academic record includes school-level honors, regional academic recognition, and prestigious scholarships such as the Endowed Scholarship and the William Bill Thornton Scholarship. These achievements reflect her consistency and strong academic leadership.
On the field, Rosini has been a key contributor for the Railsplitters across four seasons. Her conference-level athletic honors and steady development throughout her career, helping establish LMU as a rising program within SAC field hockey.
Rosini has also been active beyond athletics, participating in service and leadership efforts. Her involvement spans multiple years and includes team-required and optional service commitments, demonstrating her investment in both LMU and the broader community. Coaches and administrators praised her maturity, reliability, and the example she sets for younger teammates.
