The South Atlantic Conference Announces AstroTurf SAC Men's Basketball Players of the Week, Dec. 8

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Brevard forward Darius Moose has been named the AstroTurf South Atlantic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week for games played Dec. 1-7, the League announced today.

Moose, a senior from Salisbury, N.C., scored 22 points in a close contest against Anderson on Dec. 3.  He followed that performance by draining 32 points and snatching nine rebounds in a win over Lenoir-Rhyne on Dec. 7.  He averaged 27 points per game, shot 56.7 percent and was 12-for-12 from the free throw line on the week.  The honor is his first Player of the Week selection this season.

Also nominated for Men's Basketball Player of the Week: Jerrin Morrison (Catawba), Curtis McMillion (Lincoln Memorial), Isaiah Cuthbertson (Mars Hill) and Sean Morgan (Queens).
