Wingate Men, Newberry Women Lead After Day One of SAC Golf Championship; Final-Round Schedule Modified
CONOVER, N.C. - 36 holes are in the books at the 2012 Food Lion SAC Golf Championship at Rock Barn, with the Wingate men and Newberry women occupying the team leaderboards heading into Tuesday's final round.
Due to the threat of poor weather, Tuesday's schedule has been amended to allow for a staggered tee-off, with half the field starting at hole No. 1 and the other half at hole No. 10. The first tee-times are set for 8 a.m.
The men will again play on Rock Barn's Jones Course, while the women will compete on the Jackson Course.
