Limestone's Morales and Coker's Tidd Named South Atlantic Conference WePlayed Sports Men's & Women's Golfers of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Limestone's Maria Morales was named the South Atlantic Conference WePlayed Sports Women's Golfer of the Week, and Coker's Caleb Tidd was named the SAC WePlayed Sports Men's Golfer of the Week for events played during weeks three and four of the 2024 spring season, the Conference office announced today.

Morales, a senior from Lambare, Paraguay, led the Saints to a pair of top-10 finishes, including a team title at the Low Tide Intercollegiate. In addition to Limestone's team success, Morales placed fifth overall at the Low Tide and earne da top-20 finish at the Lady Moc Collegiate. She finished the week with a 73.5 stroke average over six rounds of play.

Tidd, a senior from Greenwood, Ind., fired rounds of 67, 71, and 67 to finish the Bulldog Clash at five-under-par (205). His scores earned him a third place finish in the event and helped lead the Cobras to a top-10 finish as a team.

The bi-monthly award is awarded to the top golfer in the SAC based on their results from the previous two weeks of play.
