No. 4 Wingate climbs to third place after record-setting third round at NCAA Championship
Boulder City, Nevada----The No. 4 Wingate University men's golf team delivered one of the best rounds in program history Wednesday afternoon, firing a blistering 19-under-par team round to surge into third place after the third and final round of stroke play at the NCAA Division II Men's Golf Championship at Boulder Creek Golf Club.

The Bulldogs climbed four spots on the leaderboard during round three and finished stroke play at 25-under-par overall, only two shots behind second-place Missouri-St. Louis. Wingate continued its dominance on the par fives throughout the week, leading the championship field at an incredible 46-under-par through 54 holes.
