The South Atlantic Conference Announces Seeds for the 2015 SAC Men's Lacrosse Championship
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Queens and Coker were named 2015 Co-Regular-Season Champions as the Men's Lacrosse Conference season concluded this afternoon. The Royals and Cobras each posted identical 7-1 records in South Atlantic Conference play. Queens defeated Coker during the regular-season to break the tie and pick up the No. 1 seed in next week's SAC Men's Lacrosse Championship, leaving as Coker the No. 2 seed.
At No. 3 in the seeds was Lenoir-Rhyne, who turned in a record of 6-2 in League games. Mars Hill finished the Conference season at 5-3 to earn the No. 4 seed, while Wingate posted a 4-4 SAC record to pick up the No. 5 seed. Brevard rounds out the seeds at No. 6 as it finished the League slate at 3-5.
Queens and Coker each earned a bye to semifinals. The quarterfinals will be played on Tuesday, April 14 at campus sites with the semifinals and finals taking place at Queens on April 16 and 18. The tournament schedule is listed below:
