The South Atlantic Conference Announces Astroturf Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week Honors
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference announced its AstroTurf Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week for games played during the third weekend of the 2020 season. Lenoir-Rhyne garnered the offensive honors with Eric Dickinson, while Queens collected the defensive honors with Kyle Hornik.
A senior attacker, Dickinson led the Bears to a 17-8 win over Westminster with three goals and six assists. The Charlotte, N.C., native also had three ground balls and one caused turnover. This is Dickinson's first Offensive Player of the Week honor of the season.
A senior goalkeeper, totaled a new career-high 20 saves in the Royals 13-8 win over Rollins. The Hillsborough, N.C, native faced 28 shots while also recording three ground balls. This is Hornik's second Defensive Player of the Week honor of the season.
