The South Atlantic Conference Announces Astroturf Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week Honors

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference announced its AstroTurf Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week for games played during the tenth weekend of the 2021 season. Limestone's Frank Smith garnered the offensive honor while Wingate's James Kotcamp collected the defensive honor.

A freshman attacker from Bayville, N.Y., Smith, helped the Saints to wins over Queens and Coker this past week. He tallied 11 points on nine goals, while also adding four ground balls and two assists. This is Smith's first Offensive Player of the Week honor of the season.

A junior face-off specialist, Kotcamp, was instrumental in securing the Bulldogs thrilling 16-15 win over No. 6 Lenoir-Rhyne this past week. Overall, the Mooresville, N.C., native tallied eight ground balls, one goal and won 10-of-16 face-offs on the night. This is Kotcamp's first Defensive Player of the Week honor of the season.
