The South Atlantic Conference Announces Astroturf Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week Honors

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference announced its AstroTurf Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week for games played during the ninth weekend of the 2022 season. Limestone's Chris Erneston garnered the offensive honor while Wingate's James Kotcamp collected the defensive honor.

A sophomore midfielder from Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., Erneston, helped the Saints to a 2-0 record this past weekend. He tallied nine points on eight goals for a 50.0 shot percentage while also adding one assist and two ground balls. This is Erneston's first Offensive Player of the Week honor of the season.

A senior defender, Kotcamp, helped the Bulldogs secure wins over Catawba and Lincoln Memorial this past weekend. Overall, the Mooresville, N.C., won 25 of his 31 one face-off's while also adding 17 ground balls and one goal. This is Kotcamp's first Defensive Player of the Week honor of the season.
