Lenoir-Rhyne advances to national quarterfinals with 15-8 win over Florida Tech
MELBOURNE, FL - The Lenoir-Rhyne men's lacrosse team took care of business on Sunday, defeating No. 3 seeded Florida Tech 15-8 to advance to the NCAA quartefinals for the sixth time in program history.
The Bears never trailed in this one, leading 8-2 after one quarter and holding at least a five-goal lead for the rest of the game. Owen Peters made 13 crucial saves in the win.
Jarrett Huff tied Lenoir-Rhyne's NCAA Tournament points record with seven (3g, 4a). Donovan Powell led the Bears with five goals, one shy of LR's tournament record.

#12 Anderson knocks off sixth-ranked Bulldogs in NCAA regional quarterfinals
WINGATE, N.C.--The NCAA DII Men's Lacrosse Championships continued with the Second Round slate of games on Sunday afternoon with eight matchups across the North and South Regions, including the South's 7-seed No. 12 Trojans traveling to face the 2-seed No. 6 Bulldogs. After going 0-2 against Wingate this season, including a loss in the regular season and South Atlantic Conference Semifinals, Anderson proved it is hard to beat a team three times, coming out on top of the Bulldogs by a score of 21-13 to advance to the NCAA Quarterfinals.
The game favored Wingate early, as the Bulldogs took a 4-1 lead in the opening ten minutes and rounded out Q1 with a 6-2 advantage. The Trojans got two back to open the scoring in the second quarter, but Wingate answered with two more, advancing the score to 8-4 in favor of the host team.

Wolves' Historic Season Ends in NCAA Thriller Against Lewis
ROMEOVILLE, IL. - The magical season for the Newberry Wolves came to a heartbreaking close Sunday afternoon, as the Wolves fell to Lewis University, 15-14, in a thrilling NCAA Tournament opening round matchup in Romeoville, Illinois.
In a rematch from earlier this season, a match played in freezing temperatures with conditions resembling a frozen tundra, the Wolves and Flyers delivered a tightly contested battle, this time with even higher stakes. Lewis struck first with a pair of early goals before Matthew Burt put Newberry on the board. After Bradley David tied the contest at 2-2, Burt found the back of the net again to give the Wolves a 3-2 lead heading into the second quarter.
