Mars Hill’s Richard Osterloh Named Men’s Soccer Player Of The Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. ­- Mars Hill College forward Richard Osterloh is this week's South Atlantic Conference men's soccer Player of the Week, league officials announced Wednesday afternoon.

Osterloh, a freshman from Sao Paulo, Brazil, scored four goals and recorded two assists as Mars Hill opened the first week of the men's soccer season 3-0 with wins over St. Andrews, Barton and Queens, the 10th-ranked team in the Southeast Region.

The Lions are ranked ninth in the NCAA Southeast Region, according to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. As a team, Mars Hill has outscored its first three opponents 11-2.
