Mars Hill’s Richard Osterloh Named Men’s Soccer Player Of The Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. ­- Mars Hill College's Richard Osterloh is this week's South Atlantic Conference men's soccer Player of the Week, league officials announced Tuesday afternoon. Osterloh wins the award for the third time this season.

Osterloh, a freshman from Sao Paulo, Brazil, had one goal and one assist as the No. 25-ranked Mars Hill men's soccer team defeated Limestone and Catawba by scores of 2-1 last week to improve to 7-0-1 overall and 2-0-1 in the SAC. He scored the game-winning goal against Catawba in the 47th minute and assisted on the game-tying goal in the 57th minute against Limestone.

Osterloh has eight goals and three assists this season.
