Carson-Newman’s Robert Hill Named Men’s Soccer Player Of The Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. ­- Carson-Newman College's Robert Hill is this week's South Atlantic Conference men's soccer Player of the Week, league officials announced Tuesday afternoon.

Hill, a junior forward from Middlesbrough, England (Middlesbrough College) recorded a hat trick to carry the Carson-Newman men's soccer team to a 4-2 victory over Lenoir-Rhyne on Saturday.

Hill scored goals in the 45th, 77th and 87th minutes with his second goal proving to be the match winner. The hat trick is the third of Hill's career.

The Eagles are now 6-2-1 overall and 4-0 in the conference.
