Three Men’s Soccer Teams In NCAA Region Rankings
INDIANAPOLIS/>/> -- The NCAA Division II Men's Soccer Committee has released the NCAA Division II men's soccer poll. Three South Atlantic Conference teams ranked in the top eight.
Mars Hill College, the top-ranked team last week, dropped to fourth. The Lions are 9-1-1 overall against Division II opponents, all of which have been against other in-region opponents. Carson-Newman/> College/>/> (8-2-1/>) is ranked seventh, while Wingate/> University/>/> (8-2-0/>) is ranked eighth. Records are through Oct. 10.
The final regular-season poll will be published November 2 and championship selections will take place November 8.
Six teams from the Southeast Region will be selected to participate in the 32-team NCAA Championship field.
Selections will be announced at 7 p.m./> Eastern time, Monday, November 8 via a webcast selection show on NCAA.com.
