Four Men’s Soccer Teams In NCAA Region Rankings
INDIANAPOLIS -- The NCAA Division II Men's Soccer Committee has released the NCAA Division II men's soccer poll. Four South Atlantic Conference teams ranked in the top eight, with Anderson University making its first appearance.
Wingate University moves up to third in the rankings. The Bulldogs are 12-2-0 overall against Division II opponents, all of which have been against other in-region opponents.
Carson-Newman College is sixth. The Eagles are 10-4-1 against Division II and in-region opponents.
Anderson comes in at number nine. The Trojans are 10-4-1, while Mars Hill Colege (11-3-1) is ranked eighth. Records are through Oct. 24.
The final regular-season poll will be published November 2 and championship selections will take place November 8.
Six teams from the Southeast Region will be selected to participate in the 32-team NCAA Championship field.
Selections will be announced at 7 p.m. Eastern time, Monday, November 8 via a webcast selection show on NCAA.com.
