SAC Soccer Weekly Awards go to Carson-Newman’s Frame, Coker’s Morris
Carson-Newman forward Ross Frame and Coker keeper Lizz Morris have been selected as the SAC Soccer Players of the Week, the conference office announced on Tuesday.
ROCK HILL, S.C. – Carson-Newman forward Ross Frame and Coker keeper Lizz Morris have been selected as the SAC Soccer Players of the Week, the conference office announced on Tuesday.

Frame totaled 10 points and was involved in every in Carson-Newman goal last week as the Eagles picked up wins over Milligan and Coker.
He finished with a goal and an assist on Saturday in a 2-0 C-N win over Milligan, then posted a hat trick along with an assist on Saturday in a 4-0 SAC win against Coker. The junior finished the week with eight shots on goal.
Frame currently leads the SAC with 32 points and is tied for the conference lead with 12 goals.

Morris recorded a pair of shutouts last week, leading Coker to a 2-0 non-conference victory over Mount Olive and a scoreless draw with Carson-Newman. She opened the week with six saves against Mount Olive on Wednesday, and followed that by posting 10 saves on Saturday versus C-N.
Morris' shutouts upped her season total to four, which is tied for the third-most in the SAC. In addition, the junior leads the nation in saves with 133.
