The South Atlantic Conference Posts Four Men's Soccer Teams in the NCAA Division II Regional Rankings

NCAA D-II Men's Soccer Regional Rankings 

 

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference posted four teams in the NCAA Southeast Region Men's Soccer Rankings, the NCAA announced today.  Wingate came in at No.1, Tusculum landed at No. 3, Lenoir-Rhyne earned the No. 6 position and Catawba rounded out the list for the South Atlantic Conference at No. 8.

 

Wingate is currently ranked No. 1 in the nation by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA).

 

The Bulldogs are 14-1 overall this season, while the Pioneers are14-3 on the year.  Lenoir-Rhyne is 11-4-3 overall and Catawba is 10-7 overall.

 

The rankings are the official poll utilized by the NCAA in the championship selection process and will continue to be released each week by the NCAA Division II Men's Soccer Committee up to the NCAA Championship selections.
