Wingate Men's Soccer Earns No. 18 United Soccer Coaches Preseason Ranking
KANSAS CITY, MO. – The United Soccer Coaches Association released its 2018 NCAA Division II preseason rankings on Tuesday (Aug. 7).
The Wingate University Bulldogs were the lone South Atlantic Conference team to be ranked. The Bulldogs earned a No. 18 preseason ranking. The 2017 SAC Men's Soccer Tournament Champions finished the year with a record of 14-4-2 advancing to the semifinals of the NCAA Southeast Regional.
The SAC men's soccer preseason poll will be released later in August. The 2018 season begins on Thursday, August 30.
