Wingate and Queens Punch Tickets to NCAA DII Men's Soccer Tournament

ROCK HILL, S.C.  (theSAC.com) – The Wingate Bulldogs, and the Queens Royals will all represent the South Atlantic Conference in the NCAA Division II Men's Soccer Super Region 2 Regional, the NCAA announced today.

Wingate is the No. 3 seed, and Queens is the No. 8 seed. 

The nationally ranked No. 15 Bulldogs receive a first round bye and they will host Young Harris in the second round on Nov. 24 at 2 p.m. in Wingate, N.C. Queens will hit the road to No. 1 seed Lynn University, where they will play the No. 9 seed Lee in the first round on Nov. 21 at 6 p.m. The winner of that match will face Lynn on Nov. 23 at 6 p.m. in Boca Raton, Fla.

Advancing teams will move on to the NCAA Men's Soccer third round on Dec. 5 or 6. From there teams will advance to the quarterfinals on Dec. 7 or 8. The NCAA Men's Soccer semifinals and final will take place Dec. 12 and 14 at Highmark Stadium in Pittsburg, Pa.
