Four SAC Men's Soccer Players Receive CoSIDA Academic All-American Honors

AUSTIN, Texas | Three South Atlantic Conference men's soccer student-athletes have been named to the 2021-22 CoSIDA Academic All-America® Division II Men's Soccer teams, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

The Division II Academic All-America® program is being financially supported by the NCAA Division II national governance structure to assist CoSIDA with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2020-21 Division II Academic All-America® program.

Representing the SAC are first team selections, Jacques Fokam-Sandeu from Coker and Thalyan Silva from Carson-Newman, along with second team selection Bryce Goodwyn from Anderson and third team selection Jeppe Christensen from Mars Hill.

Twenty of the 35 members of the 2021-22 CoSIDA Academic All-America® Division II Men's Soccer teams have at least a 3.90 GPA, with eight student-athletes maintaining a perfect 4.00 GPA. The 12 members of the first team have an average GPA of 3.90.
