The South Atlantic Conference Announces WePlayed Sports Swimmers of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference announced its WePlayed Sports Swimmers of the Week for meets competed in during the second week of the 2024 season. Wingate's Natalia Dwojak was named the Women's Swimmer of the Week while Wingate's Manoel Silva was named the Men's Swimmer of the Week.

Dwojak took three first-place finishes in Wingate's meet against Barton. The junior from Poland took first in the 100 free with a time of 53:31 and the 200 IM winning with a 2:09.77. She also led the Bulldogs to a win in the 200 medley relay (1:47.13)

Silva captured three wins, leading the Bulldogs to a 122-59 win over Barton. The sophomore from Brazil won the 50 free (21:00) and the 100 free (46:04). Silva also was a part of the 200 medley relay team that took first with a time of 1:32.47.
