All-American Honors Won Through First Two Days of 2025 NCAA DII Swimming & Diving Championships

INDIANAPOLIS, IND – After the first two days of the 2025 NCAA Division II Swimming & Diving Championships, the South Atlantic Conference has already claimed multiple All-American performances.

The Wingate men's 800 Freestyle Relay team of Yassine Sebbata, Tymofii Chemeryk, Gabriel Costa, and Anton Witzell earned All-American honors with a fourth-place finish, clocking a time of 6:24.13.

Catawba's Maksymil Minichowski secured All-American status with a fifth-place finish in the 50 Freestyle, touching the wall in 19.73 seconds. He later added another All-American performance in the 200 Freestyle, finishing fourth with a time of 1:34.59.

Wingate's women's 200 Medley Relay team of Elizabete Paula Ozola, Natalia Dwojak, Zapata Ceballostina, and Lucinda Andrews earned All-American honors with an eighth-place finish in 1:40.86.

Catawba's Eniko Onofer claimed an All-American finish in the 100 Butterfly, placing seventh with a time of 54.86.

The Wingate women's 400 Medley Relay team of Marta Beesmans, Natalia Dwojak, Zapata Ceballostina, and Lucinda Andrews finished fifth in 3:39.80, earning All-American recognition. Catawba's relay squad of Eniko Onofer, Sydney McKenzie, Sydney Peterson, and Marit Reckmann followed closely behind in sixth place, finishing in 3:41.61 to also secure All-American honors.

In the men's 400 Medley Relay, Wingate's team of Ney Chagas Filho, Andres Martijena, Mike Topchanalis, and Anton Witzell finished eighth with a time of 3:10.90, earning All-American status.

Through the first 20 events, Wingate sits at No. 11, Catawba at No. 15, and Carson-Newman at No. 21 in the men's team standings. In the women's standings, Wingate currently holds the No. 11 spot, Catawba ranks No. 15, while Carson-Newman is at No. 31.
