Wingate’s Mitchell Lvovsky Named Men’s Tennis Player Of The Week

ROCK HILL, SC -- Wingate University sophomore Mitchell Lvovsky, of Dania, Fla., has been named the South Atlantic Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week for the week ending March 30.

Lvovsky won three singles matches on the week to help the Bulldogs to conference wins over Lenoir-Rhyne, Carson-Newman and No. 36 Tusculum.

Lvovsky started his week with a 6-4, 6-0 victory in number one singles against Lenoir-Rhyne. The Keystone High School product followed that with a 6-2, 6-2 win in number two singles against Carson-Newman. Lvovsky wrapped up his week with a 6-2, 6-0 victory in number one singles against Tusculum.

The South Atlantic Conference Player of the Week is voted on by the league's Sports Information Directors.
