Tusculum’s Luis Zamora Named Men’s Tennis Player Of The Week

ROCK HILL, SC -- Tusculum College's Luis Zamora has been named the South Atlantic Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week for the week ending February 23, 2010.

Zamora, a freshman from Santiago, Chile (Santiago College), posted a win each in singles and doubles in the Pioneers' 9-0 win over Milligan College.

Zamora posted a 6-1, 6-3 win at No. 1 singles over Milligan's Ricky Jones. He preceded that with an 8-1 pro set doubles victory with teammate Henrique Rodrigues over the Milligan duo of Jones and Wesley Rice.

The Pioneers are off to a 4-0 start this season.
