The South Atlantic Conference Announces AstroTurf SAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week, March 21

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Tusculum's Jonas Winklemann has been named the AstroTurf South Atlantic Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played March 14-20, the League announced today.

Winklemann, a senior from Boblingen, Germany, Winkelmann rallied from a set down and held off two match points before winning 3-6, 7-5, 6-2 in the deciding match against Wingate to give the Pioneers a 5-4 win in a matchup of last year's SAC co-champions. The win allowed the Pioneers to stay unbeaten at 12-0 overall and snapped a five-match losing streak to the Bulldogs, including each of the last three SAC Tournaments.
