The South Atlantic Conference Names Sue Ellen Swanson as Coordinator of Tennis Officials
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference has named Sue Ellen Swanson as its Coordinator of Tennis Officials, the League announced today.
"I am excited to have Sue Ellen and Palmetto State Tennis serve as our first-ever Coordinator of Tennis Officials," said South Atlantic Conference Commissioner Patrick Britz. "Her experience and extensive roster of officials will add a much needed consistency and professionalism to the officiating at our conference tennis matches."
Swanson has over 20 years of experience in tennis officiating at all levels, including collegiate and professional tennis. She has served as the Chief Coordinator of ITA Officials for the NCPTUA and has officiated at Regionals throughout all levels of NCAA Tennis. She has served as an official for the USTA South and National Junior Championships as well as working to develop mentor programs for the training and development of USTA and ITA Officials.
"I am both thrilled and honored to have the opportunity to serve SAC Tennis as the Coordinator of Tennis Officials, said Swanson. "I have coordinated and assigned officials for most of my 20 years as an ITA Official and look with excitement at the chance to work with SAC coaches and staff to promote consistency and professionalism on every court for the student-athletes of the South Atlantic Conference."
