Lenoir-Rhyne's Atkinson Named South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Men's Tennis Player of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Lenoir-Rhyne's Rhodri Atkinson has been named the South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Men's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played March 18 through March 24, the Conference announced today.

Atkinson, a freshman from Gloucester, England, helped lead the No. 48 Bears to their first-ever national ranking with SAC win over No. 43 Catawba. Atkinson went 2-0 in the match winning 6-4 at No. 2 doubles and pulling out a 6-2, 6-1 win at No. 4 singles.

This is Atkinson's first Player of the Week selection this season.
