Queens' Enc Named South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Men's Tennis Player of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Queens' Berk Enc has been named the South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Men's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played during week 11 of the 2022 season, the Conference announced today.

Enc, a sophomore from Istanbul, Turkey, led the Royals to a pair of wins last week over No. 37 Lenoir-Rhyne and UVA Wise. In the process, he helped Queens capture the 2022 SAC Men's Tennis Regular Season Title. Enc went undefeated for the week, going 4-0, while dropping just one set in singles play and only two in doubles play. He won 6-0, 6-1 at No. 4 singles versus Lenoir-Rhyne, and won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1 singles against UVA Wise. In doubles play, he and his partner won 6-2 at No. 3 doubles against the Bears, and 6-0 at No. 2 doubles versus the Cavaliers.

This is Enc's first Player of the Week selection this season.
