Anderson's Horning Named South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference announced its AstroTurf Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week for meets competed in during the week of Sept. 10 through Sept. 16. Anderson's Logan Horning was named the runner of the week.

Horning, a freshman from Daytona Beach, Fla., made his presence felt in his collegiate debut as he won the Southern Wesleyan Warrior Invitational last week. He posted a time of 22:02.7 over the four-mile course, leading the Trojans to the team championship. Anderson runners claimed three of the top four spots in the meet and had six of the top eight finishers overall.  

This is Horning's first Runner of the Week honor this season.
